Blackbutt

<p class="rteBlock">Approved by the Building Commission in Victoria for home construction in bushfire areas, this has a Janka Hardness Rating of 9.1. Grown in the Northern NSW, this blonde timber has a colour range from golden yellow to pale brown, with a tinge of pink from time to time. Coastal Blackbutt hardwoods have fairly straight grain lines and are ideal for interior applications.</p>

New England Oak

<p class="rteBlock">New England Oak is a blonde timber with a Janka Hardness Rating of 9.5. It is grown in coastal ranges and tablelands in the Northern NSW region. It is a warm, deep-coloured flooring option with colour ranges from pale brown to light grey. New England Oak is best known for its gum veins which gives it a unique, distinctive look for any interior space.</p>

Australian Beech

<p class="rteBlock">With a Janka Hardness Rating of 7.5, this is a “softer” hardwood sourced from the highlands. This blonde timber ranges from pale brown with golden hue accents to a light cream with pink accents. The grain is simple and narrow, making it perfect for smaller rooms or creating unique flooring designs.</p>

Messmate

<p class="rteBlock">Located in Tasmania, Victoria and the tablelands of NSW and Southern Queensland, this blonde timber works perfectly for a variety of applications. With a Janka Hardness Rating of 7.1, it is fairly soft. The colour ranges from soft, pale browns to cool yellows with touches of peach throughout. It is a fairly rough texture with lots of grain details to create beautiful patterns throughout your home or office. As with the New England Oak previously mentioned, this is well-known for its gum veins.</p>

Stringy Bark

<p class="rteBlock">Though this blonde timber has a questionable name, this is a beautiful hardwood option with large gum veins and bug holes that work great for interlocking designs. It has a Janka Hardness Rating of 8.1 and comes in a variety of colours from light brown to pale pink or yellow to brown with some soft accents. Most of these blonde timbers are sourced from the coast and tablelands of NSW and reaching up to Cooktown.</p>

Tasmanian Oak

The Tasmanian Oak is sourced from trees in the mountains of Tasmania, Victoria and the South Eastern NSW. With a Janka Hardness Rating of 5.5, it is fairly soft and easy to dent or leave impressions. Colours for this blonde timber range from light reds and browns to soft creams and pinks.</p>

Golden Oak Blend

For those looking for a great mixture of Viminalis, Fastigata, Messmate, New England Blackbutt and Brown Stringybark, look no further. This blond timber is sourced from the highlands of the NSW and has a Janka Hardness Rating of 7.3. The grain is wide, giving off a beautiful look in large flooring applications. Golden Oak Blend timbers have a colour range between golden yellow to husk brown with soft cream accents throughout.
